The Pregnancy Project is a true story about a girl named Gaby Rodriguez who faked a pregnancy for her senior project. The book explores her life leading up to the decision to do the project and how people treated her during the project.
I decided to take a break from my usual genres and try out a non-fiction. This one was lent to me by a friend. I found it interesting and it was very easy to sympathize with Gaby. I think the idea behind her project was an important one but I felt that it was centered more around her than the problem she was trying to bring to attention. But overall it was a short and easy read that had good meaning behind it.
The Pregnancy Project gets 3.5 out of 5 stars
