The Westing Game follows the story of sixteen people who gather for the reading of Samuel W. Westing's will. When read it is revealed that they will have to win a game to get his inheritance. But it is also revealed that there is a murderer in they're midst. The group turns into pairs and each pair is trying to win the inheritance while also trying to find out who the murderer is.
Alright so I actually finished this book in January but I'm an idiot and completely forgot to write a review. So I'm going to do my best to remember my thoughts on the book. I apologize for the horrible review. I picked up the westing game because after finishing Ready Player One I really wanted another book like it with a hint of mystery. I have to say this was not one of my favorites. There was way to many characters to keep up with who was who. The characters all felt a little flat. The mystery is one of those ones you figure out before they characters do. But the end was really cute. Its a really short read so if you don't have anything else to read pick it up and you'll finish it in less than a day.
The Westing Game gets 2 out of 5 stars.
